It’s a Perfect World for Green Seed UK
Perfect World Ice Cream has teamed up with Green Seed UK to grow their business in UK retail and foodservice, with a roll-out into selected European markets also now just beginning.
Capitalising on the trends for both vegan and healthy foods, Perfect World is now making a big impact on UK consumers (with 95,000 Facebook followers alone). The range of 7 ice creams all have no added sugar (unique in the market), contain 12 added vitamins and are dairy, egg and soya free.
With listings now established in Tesco and Ocado and in negotiation with one further multiple, Green Seed UK is now also opening doors with major foodservice customers for 2l and 100ml pots. All sales activity is being supported by a social media and consumer PR campaign which highlights the brand’s remarkable taste credentials vs other brands.
Sales have shot up since the range was reformulated earlier in the year to be all vegan, with improved flavours and an extended range.
After a recent successful investment round the company has decided also to use Green Seed teams in other markets as it begins its international growth. First up is the Netherlands where the team rapidly achieved a listing in 300 Jumbo stores for 3 skus and initial orders are running at double expected levels.
