Adil Khan, Founder & CEO

Adil has worked in the GCC region for over 25 years. He spent eight years (2000–2008) at the British Embassy in Doha and 15 years (2008–2023) at the British Embassy in Dubai, working with the Department for Business & Trade (DBT). After 23 years with the British Government, he founded Crown HouZe Events Co LLC in Dubai in August 2023. At the British Embassy in Dubai, Adil led initiatives to grow British food & drink and retail sector products in the UAE. He supported over 500 UK companies in expanding into the region, driving more than £100 million in export wins. He also organised events promoting British brands, including partnerships with major retailers and five Gulfood trade shows (2019–2023), where he facilitated approximately 1,800 meetings between UK suppliers and buyers from the GCC, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, India & China. Beyond business development, Adil worked on trade policy solutions to eliminate barriers affecting UK exports. His efforts led to the temporary suspension of Arabic labelling requirements during the Covid pandemic, as well as the resolution of Scottish Salmon export restrictions in the UAE. Throughout his time in the GCC, he built strong relationships with top business leaders, senior government officials, and key Emirati figures. His deep understanding of the local market and its business dynamics continues to shape his strategic approach.
