Plant-based products: +27% nel 2015

A recent Nielsen study revealed that in 2015, 8.5 million Italian households bought at least one plant-based product. The survey analysed consumers’ buying habits in an industry that, last year, grew by 27%.

The data contained showed that the market for plant-based products is not addressed only to consumers who follow a certain diet for ideological choices or for reasons of health, but that it also extends to cover those looking for a balanced diet suited to personal wellbeing.
